Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20220428 rel.64552(5553)

The packaging box and the web user interface use two different model names. Sometimes it's an AX55 and other times it's an AX3000.

Why two different model numbers? Which is the proper one when requesting support?

This is something that you will see across several product lines such as routers, Range Extenders, Deco, Network adapters, etc. Multiple products can be part of the same classification, in this case, AX3000 routers.  The Difference can be hardware, software or even its sale focus, such as is it designed to be sold in Retail or E-Commerce.  The best way to determine the router that is right for you is to compare the specifications and features of each one.  For the AX55 and AX3000 you can check out this comparison

Carl,

The spec chart you provide a link for is nice and clear. It says the AX3000 and AX55 are different products, with different antenna arrays, different wi-fi speeds, different parental controls, etc. That's all nice and clear and would be helpful in deciding which to purchase.

The problem I have is that the packaging box in my hand says at the top AX3000, and below that AX55.

Furthermore, when I open the web interface to configure the thing, and figure out what I have, at the very top of the user interface it says AX3000. Cool, I have the AX3000. However, when I dig deeper into a sub-page, it says the device is an AX55.
