@bpdfs AX11000 is solid router. Still some hickups with it but has been one of the best routers I bought. 

In regard to extensions, I would recommend looking at the TP-Link website and on the right hand side after selecting "Range Extenders" selected OneMesh which is what the AX11000 uses and works pretty well. Setup is good. RE705X is solid. But you can select something for your budget.

TP-Link AC1900 WiFi Extender (RE550), 

  @bpdfs Good choice, Wi-Fi signal goes far but does lack Wi-Fi 6. If you want to spend $20.00 more you could get the RE600x, similar but has Wi-Fi 6. Speeds comparable but range is better on the RE550 supposedly.

Thanks I can always return it to via Amazon so no harm in trying to see . It's mainly for my ring system in the front of the house .. inside I'm good
