Anyone facing stability issues with Deco X55? The main deco keeps losing wifi connection.

I have an Arris S33 modem and that seems fine. The Xfinity tech also confirmed the incoming line is fine.

Appreciate any tips or advice - thanks.

  @kimi219  I've had something similar with an X-60 however WLAN and LAN traffic dropped.  Worse, it was chronic sometimes being able to restore traffic after a couple of hours and running without issues for a few weeks.   Support was not very helpful mainly due to refusing the fully read the ticket.  They want to fire back canned responses that waste days.   Anyway, I resolved it by promoting one of the satellite Decos to the main router position.  I RMAed the offending unit.   Good luck.

  @kimi219 If you have any switches that is not Tplink brand, get rid of that. I know it sucks but network will be more stable with tplink switches only.

  @kimi219

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Could you please help me confirm the following details:

1. How often does Deco usually drop out?

2. Do you need to restart the main Deco to get the internet connection back, or would it restore the connection automatically a few minutes later?

3. Can I have a screenshot of the IPV4 settings under Deco APP>More>Internet Connection>IPV4 when the main Deco X55 turned solid red again?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP for whatever reason, a reboot of the main Deco for the 3rd time seems to have done the trick.

Thanks all for the advice everyone.
