Model: TL-SG108
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: SG108PE(UN) 5.0_1.0.0 Build 20220930 Rel.36161_up

I recently installed a Decco-X50Poe mesh router and a TP-SG108PE switch. After building the network and hanging the APs everything was fine. Howerver after powercycling everything (the APs, modem & switch) the decco would loose its internet connection. After multiple attempts I noticed that elimination of the switch from the network (connecting the main decco router directly to the fiber modem) resulted in the internet connection remaining stable even with power cycling the modem and the decco AP.

I have upgraded the firmware (to SG108PE(UN) 5.0_1.0.0 Build 20220930 Rel.36161_up) and I have tried multiple cables. Nothing appears to work in keeping the internet connection alive after a power cycle.

  @DonfromMaine

If you use your Deco X50-PoE in router mode with ethernet backhaul go through this FAQ and pay attention to switch positioning in the topology.
