I'm trying to set up NordVPN as my VPN provider inside my router to protect all of my traffic. The trouble comes when I have to select a server to connect to — ALL the servers in ALL the countries time out when I try to connect.

I can connect to the VPN just fine, and I can access the LIST of servers which means it's getting SOME connection, it just stops when I try to pick a server. NordVPN said it was a router issue. Anybody have any ideas?

Hello @Kabifff ,

Welcome to our community.

First of all, please confirm that you have correctly configured the Nord VPN: How to Install NordVPN on TP-Link Wireless Routers.

Note: If NordVPN provides multiple OpenVPN-related files (.ovpn, .crt, .key, etc.), you may need to merge them before importing into the router. Please refer to this FAQ for merging instructions: Manually create the unified format for OpenVPN profile(CyberGhost OpenVPN Server).

Here are some troubleshooting tips:

• If all servers time out, double-check that your ISP or local firewall is not blocking VPN traffic.

• Test the VPN files on different devices, like your PC, or your  phones.
• Try using different NordVPN .ovpn files (from different locations) to rule out server-side issues.
