Hey Community,

We recently received reports from users that after updating the Archer BE230_V2 to version 1.3.1 Build 20260106, their previously configured OpenVPN client no longer functions, even though the same VPN configuration file works fine on other devices. Community user djs88 reported this behavior here.

Solution 1:
Our R&D team has identified the cause of this unexpected behavior and has released a beta firmware update to address it. If your Archer BE230 V2 is experiencing the same anomaly, please try downloading and manually updating your router's firmware using the file below.

 

Before Upgrading

(1) It is always recommended to save a copy of the router's Backup Config file before upgrading or downgrading firmware.
