Hey Everyone,

We have another round of firmware for our Deco X50 and Deco X55―this time for hardware v1.0 and v1.6. This new pre-release firmware brings significant enhancements for system stability and accuracy of Client Identification in the Deco App.

 

Your testing and feedback for this beta firmware may help accelerate its official release!

Deco X50(EU/US/JP/CA)/ Deco X55(EU/US/CA)_V1.0/V1.6

Note:

  • Please ensure your Deco app is fully up-to-date.
  • This firmware cannot be reverted directly to the previous 1.8.0 version. 
  • There will be an official firmware release in the future. If you are not comfortable using beta firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support teams for assistance.
  • Pre-release and Beta firmware should be used at your own discretion. We cannot guarantee the functionality of features or technical support for Pre-Release or Beta Firmware.

This would also work for v1.2. yes?

In this case, it would not work for v1.2.

 

For reference:

 

Vx.0 = Vx.6/Vx.8/Vx.9 (e.g., V1.0 = V1.6/V1.8/V1.9)

Vx.x0 = Vx.x6/Vx.x8/Vx.x9 (e.g., V1.20 = V1.26/V1.28/V1.29)

Vx.30 = Vx.32/Vx.33 (e.g., V3.30 = V3.32/V3.33)

If you are experiencing any issues with this beta patch, please follow the instructions below.

 

First please access the Deco web UI by entering "tplinkdeco.net" in your browser. Navigate to Advanced > System > System Log, select "ALL" in the log type, and save the file to your local computer. Then follow the steps below making sure to attach the logs to the email.

 

Send an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:
