Hello all

 

Just had my wifi network go down on me. Did the normal troubleshooting steps, restarting modem, and all the meshed sites multiple times, which did not fix it. Moved to the next step of attempting to reset the main node within the mesh network.

 

To make it easy, we'll name the three nodes: Downstairs, Middle Floor (main node), and Upstairs.

 

 

After holding the reset button (on Middle Floor) for ~30-60 seconds (multiple times), the node would not reset. Next, I unplugged the power from all of the nodes and moved the Upstairs node to the main site and did a reset on that one. 

 

Upstairs node is now the main node and is able to broadcast the network. I then rejoined the Downstairs node to the network, however, the Middle Floor node is still not able to reset, nor is it able to connect to the network, and it is not being recognized within the app, or when logging into the router through the ip address on my computers. 

 

Continuing to troubleshoot, the Middle Floor node's color will not change from it's yellowish green color, even when holding the reset button down. I also tried plugging 3 different computers into it, and trying to login through the ip address with no success. Additionally, I am unable to ping it (using 192.168.68.1) on cmd. 

 

I bought this system on February 15th, 2026 and it is now May 10th, 2026. I don't believe that a node should have crashed this quickly. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  @Dlaxson 

 

Can you please provide the hardware versions of your units. You can find this on the bottom of each deco. Can you reset the middle floor deco one more time by just pressing the reset one once and record the color of the led from start to where it lands on. 

 

Using this chart what color does the led get stuck on?
