Model: TL-SG105
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20230214 Rel.63440

I am getting ready to alter my current setup as follows:

I have a home router that I will connect to a TL-SG105E switch on port 1. I will set up MTU VLANS using port 1 as the up-link port. As I understand it, this will create ports 2-5 as individual VLAN's. (VLAN 2 - VLAN 5) Each VLAN/Port is isolated from each other.

Question 1: Does this also isolate my home router network? Maybe as VLAN0?

I have additional routers connected to ports 2 & 3. They have their own subnet each. I use DHCP on each router. That way the WiFi and ports can be freely used in the respected VLANS. I have the default gateway in each subnet router set to my home router ip.

Question 2: Will the traffic from the new VLANS get access to the internet through my home router with this new setup?

Note: Home router is a Netgear RAX54

"MTU VLAN (Multi-Tenant Unit VLAN) defines an uplink port which will build up several
VLANs with each of the other ports. Each VLAN contains two ports, the uplink port and
one of the other ports in the switch, so the device connected to the uplink port can
communicate with the device connected to any other port, but devices connected to other
ports cannot communicate with each other."

Question 1: Your Netgear RAX54 won't be able to communicate with the devices on ports 2 & 3 since they are behind another router's NAT..

Question 2: The traffic from the new VLANs should get access to the internet through your Netgear RAX54 home router.
