Replacing Xfinity wifi router. Kept same network name but changed password. Assuming I needed to reset deco and reconnect using old network name and new password but it is complaining that there other networks with that same name and I should connect to a different network

Do you intend replacing and Xfinity wifi router by a Deco mesh?
Did you power off the Xfinity wifi router?
Where did you change the wifi password?
After resetting the Deco, did you create a new Deco network?
What is complaining that there other networks with that same name?
