Can I connect the satellite decos to my Ethernet ports to get a better signal? I have Ethernet throughout my house but the satellite decos only have 2 Ethernet ports and they just say 1 & 2.

OK make sure you hook everything up like the image below

In my home I have Ethernet cables going from the switch to the wall plates in my house then i go from the wall plates to the decos

Before I try to answer this are you using any type of switch on your network?

No problem at all and just an FYI you can use either of the ports on the deco the only time it really matters is if you plug your modem into a slower port.

 

Example My deco has a 2.5 Gbps port and a 2 Gigabit port. If i was paying for 2.5 I wouldn't want to plug my modem into the 2 Gigabit port.
