Thanks for reaching out. I understand that your Deco unit's LED remains yellow and does not change to white, which means the device is stuck during the boot-up process.
A solid yellow light on your Deco indicates it is attempting to boot up. If the LED stays solid yellow and does not transition to white (or another color), this suggests the Deco may be unresponsive or 'bricked.'
Here are some steps you can try:
1. Firmware Recovery:
• Please attempt a firmware recovery by following the instructions in this FAQ: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2958/
2. If the Deco is rebooting repeatedly (cycling through yellow, green/red/blue, and back to yellow):
• Try using a different power adapter or plugging the Deco into another power outlet.
• Disconnect all Ethernet cables and client devices from the Deco, then observe if the issue continues. This can help determine if connected devices are causing the problem.
If you have tried these steps and the issue persists, please contact TP-Link support and provide the results of your troubleshooting so we can assist you further.

Thanks very much for your advice. I updated the firmware today before setting up my Deco network. By the way, these Decos are relocated from my former home. I made no other changes except the firmware update.
Tomorrow morning, I'll try the firmware recovery that you suggested.
Again, thanks.

The firmware recovery will have to wait until I have a PC with ethernet port nearby.
Meanwhile, my Decos appear to be working OK, even though all three units show steady yellow LEDs. My dashboard shows "Everything looks good" next to a green dot. @MR2311
Again, thanks for your help.

Since everything is working besides the LED's I want you to hold off on the firmware recover for now and do the following
First please access the Deco web UI by entering "tplinkdeco.net" in your browser. Navigate to Advanced > System > System Log, select "ALL" in the log type, and save the file to your local computer. Then follow the steps below making sure to attach the logs to the email.
I recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:
