BE13000 (Costco 3 pack) issues
BE13000 (Costco 3 pack) issues
Selected BE67 as the model since the BE13000 is not listed and I understand they share similar hardware/firmware.
I've been having some odd disconnect issues since installing my BE13000 last weekend. It replaced a BE11000 3 pack that was fairly stable. Wireless backhaul. I have noticed some buffering pauses on our streaming since moving to the BE13000 (same SSID, all other settings basically the same). I also found that last evening my upload speeds from my phone dropped dramatically. In addition my MYQ garage door opener is no longer connecting even after several reboots. This weekend can try a reset/reconnect of it.
I have symentrical 1gb Google FIber. Phone (Samsung S22 Ultra) normally gets 600+ down and 300+ up from anywhere in the house, and if close to router can get full 1gb down and 600+ up.
Last night was getting 500 down but on 50 up. Disconnected and reconnected wifi with no change. Rebooted Mesh set and it returned to normal.
Is there any newer early release or beta firmware I might be able to try for the BE13000?
Thanks!

In the Deco app, could you check whether QoS is enabled? If so, I'd try toggling it off and monitoring for any improvements. If that doesn't do the trick, we recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:

@Larry-R I have the be13000 for several weeks. They just released 1.3.6 firmware a few days ago. Have you tried updating to that yet?

While you wait for @Ryan to get back to you i agree with @Sammy321 I would check to see if there is new firmware for your BE13000 you can do so by using the directions in the following link. How to Update TP-Link Deco Firmware (3 Methods)

Now running on latest firmware and still seeing complaints from the family. This BE13000 replaced a BE11000 so assumed it would be a slight overall upgrade but now not so sure.

Same issue? Or new ones? If there are any new ones please reply back with them so we can have them looked at for you.

@Larry-R a few things stand out on your post. If you have symmetrical 1gb fiber you should always get around 960 to 1000 mbps up and down on wired devices. If not, you need to contact your ISP and get that fixed.
Also, how is your network set up? Do you have any switches, old patch cables, are you double NATing your network through google router, or are you on bridge mode on their equipment, or did you eliminate their router completely ? What DNS servers are you using? Try 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1. Do you have anything on your network with a static IP that may conflict with your DHCP settings? Do you have a rouge router or WiFi extender still connected somewhere that's confusing your new stuff?
there could be many causes to your problems. It will require some troubleshooting. First check all patch cables and connections. Restart any switches. Make sure you are in bridge/passthrough mode on the google equipment or physibypass it if possible . Unplug all APs and run off the main deco for a while and see it it improves on close devices, then plug each one in after waiting 15-30 minutes before powering up the next. If you start having problems when one of the decos comes on line, you may have a device hanging onto an IP address that needs to be cleared and restarted or that device may be defective.
You have to start somewhere, good luck.

Wired devices are getting max speed.
Router plugged directly into Google fiber hub, not their router. The 2 nodes both connect 5g/6g back to the main and show strong signal.
Stopped using alternate dns for the GFiber defaults. I do have ipv4 and ipv6 enabled.
all cables are the same from the Be11000 setup. Just swapped units and set same SSID.
biggest noticeable issue is that people say websites are slow to load, but not consistently. Speedtest will show 900/400 on iPhone and 5 minutes later she'll show me instagram or another site just spinning. Eventually it seems to recover.

@Larry-R it also possible you have too many APs or a couple are too close together. Try moving them around and see if that helps. I would also replace the main patch cable from the main deco to the google hub, just in case. If you haven't tried alternative DnS settings you should give that a try also. I assume you have DoH and DoT turned off, but if not I would toggle those off as well. Maybe ask the fiber people to reset their equipment on their end.
Are you on 1.3.6 firmware?

@Larry-R I had related issues with my BE13000 purchased/installed 8/29/2026
Everything was working with my BE13000 and Xfinity in bridge mode, including access to http://tplinkdeco.net and http://192.168.68.1 until I subscribed to and installed Homeshield complimentary subscription. After that, the system wouldn't stay up more than a few minutes and I ultimately had to DELETE then recreate my network.
After I recreated I did not put my Xfinity router into bridge mode because if the BE13000 blinks out again I need a backup.
