Model: Deco BE63
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 135 build 260712 Rel18941

Perhaps I was on the wrong support website (Europe) previously but there was major discussion about BE63 V2 and early release Firmware 1.3.3

I'm posting this to understand what the latest Firmware is for for BE63 US 2.6  My build info is listed above.

Note that the model number dropdown doesn't offer 2.6

Reason?

I'm having problems with devices (mostly modern smart TV's) losing intenet connection from their local BE63's (I have 4) requiring a power off on TV and frequently a reboot of the BE63. This occurs with Wi-Fi and direct wired connection.

Deco app assures me I have the latest firmware. However, the model numbers and firmware versions for a DECO BE63 are confusing to me.

Anyone care to chime in?

Hi,
Regarding the firmware and hardware version of the Deco BE63, your Deco BE63 V2.6 has the latest official firmware(v1.3.5). (Note: hardware v2.0=v2.6)

You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot instability on the Deco network.
Fix Deco Disconnecting and Internet Instability Issues

If the same phenomenon persists, please confirm the following information.
  1. Please describe your network diagram. Are the Deco nodes connected via Wi-Fi?
  2. How many smart TVs do you have? Which Deco do they connect to? Via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable?
  3. When the TV loses its internet connection, does it have an IP address? How often does the disconnection occur?

Best Regards

There is a known issue with DECO BE63 that TP link doesn't want to admit exists where some wireless backhaul nodes will loop when refreshing the backhaul and drop out.

I made a long post diagnosing this issue here: https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/873398?moduleId=2424

So far TP link support in my ticket doesn't understand anything, and I doubt anyone on the forum does either.

So i have little hope that this will be fixed but I am this close to throwing mine out the window with maximum force.
