I purchased the Tapo C460 camera which is advertised as a home security device. It works well for me as the administrative owner however it is unusable for members of my family who I have assigned as shared users. 

Here is a common scenario. I turn the camera alarm ON so that the camera alarm activates when it detects motion. When the alarm activates I am able to turn it off. Mt family members who are shared users are NOT able to manage the alarm. They cannot turn the camera on or off, cannot turn off the alarm when it is activated, cannot deactivate the camera alarm. This is a fatal flaw in Tapo cameras for people who want to use the camera as their security system. 

I had intended to buy Tapo sensors to protect windows and doors. But Tapo's critical shared user flaw results in Tapo devices not being useful or practical for use in a home security system. I will not buy another Tapo until this flaw is addressed and may have to consider abandoning Tapo altogether. I hope not as I value Tapo's other features. 

I expcect that Tapo will routinely comment that this request is being logged, just like all other requests submitted here. But Tapo you need to realzie this is a flaw that prevents you from being a serious contender in the home security business.
