Hi, is the model number of your AV600 TL-WPA4220 KIT?
Please double-check the LED status on the smaller adapter to see if it is Powerline or Ethernet LED blinking.
Please also try moving the two powerline devices into the same room, if powerline LED is not on, please pair them via pair button:
