Model: Tapo C200  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

I have tried everything I could find online but nothing works, here's what I did so far:

 

- changed DNS to 8.8.8.8

- created different tp-link account

- factory defaults

- removed sd card

- placed camera close to a different ap

- tried camera with a different ISP

 

 

none of the above works =(

any ideas will be appreciated.

Hello, 

 

Please tell me the MAC address of your C200 personally by sending me a message and we will check further.

 

Additionally, please confirm if there are any special characters in your Tapo account password, remove them, and set a simple password to give it a go.

@Brook I will try an even simple password, but my current password is only capital letters and numbers

I have exactly the same problem. Tried all the above. Simple password too.
