hi guys
i bought this product recently and i wanted a router to be honest but this is an accesspoint i did the setup and everything and the internet works perfectly in my Laptop but it doesnt work with my Iphone it is connected but no Internet. is there a way for it to work or should i buy a real router?
Hi, whether you need a router or not depends on your current network topology.
If you have only a bridge modem and this access point now, and you would need a router first, connect the modem to a router, then connect access point to the router.
If you have only an Ethernet cable coming from your ISP, no any modem, you could connect a computer to that cable directly, if internet works, check IP address on the computer: How to find IP address on your devices
If it is a public IP address, you will need a router to share internet access, if it is a private IP address, an access point should work as well.
