I have a client who does NOT want eap225 on ceiling. He wants them under his house in the crawl space. Are they directional? Can I bount under his floor in the crawl space facing down or up? Or does it matter?

EAPs are designed to mount on ceilings, but if distance from crawl space to upper floor is not too small and if the floor isn't made out of reinforced concrete, it could work to mount it facing upwards. It would just try and measure the signal in the area to be covered.

Hi @Jw1,

I use one EAP225V3 on my first floor, sitting on a table, facing up.  The majority of the users for this AP are on the second floor above.  Works great.

(note residential construction with standard wood / tile / carpet flooring)

You could also mount in the Attic facing down.
