Hello and good day! 

I have an old macbook air 2017 model with non-working wifi  and I am planning to purchase  a TP-link USB wifi adapter, the problem is most of your adapters only support Mac OS catalina. Mine  is running on Mac OS monterey. I do not want an OS downgrade if possible... Any recommendations or suggestions? Thank you, and response is highly appreciated...

Hi, welcome to the community.

There are no plans to release a new driver for Mac OS 11.0 or later. The current Mac OS driver supports up to 10.15. Apple introduced significant changes in the new version that impose further restrictions on third-party software compatibility with Mac OS. Due to these restrictions, it is very likely that the wireless adapter may not function on the new Mac OS.
