Why doesn't the PET DETECTION-selection stay activated?? Tried every kind of scenario and it stays on, but like next day it's gone again...It says BETA but still. Why?? Please make it work! Other selections work.

Have you logged into the Tapo App on multiple mobile devices? Or have you shared your account with others?

 

The settings for Home/Away mode can only be saved locally on the device. If your account is logged in on different phones and one of the phones makes changes to the settings, those changes will not synchronize with the other phone.

Do you use camera Home/Away mode feature? This feature allows the user to create two sets of detection settings for the camera. How to edit Home and Away Mode for Tapo&Kasa Cameras on the Tapo app

 

If you switch the camera to a mode that does not have Pet Detection activated, this detection type will be disabled.

Yes, I use Home/Away-buttons and they are identical(except for the Privacy mode). Last night I checked before bedtime and everything was ok but this morning PET was off again....clicked Home and then Away and PET was activated again. Weird. And annoying...
