WBS510 SURVEY won't find any network

I'm desperated trying to make m WBS510 to work as a repeater AP.
I follow the instructions, but it never finds any wireless network when I use the "survey" option, no matter what combination of options I choose. I can find more than 20 from my cellular device.
What am I doing wrong?
