Hello,

I tried to look on datasheet and everywhere else to find answers to my questions, but was unsuccessful. I have an existing system of access points to widen the range of my network, but the product I was using is discontinued. I need to know if the setup it shows in the manual is the only setup available for the EAP110-outdoor. It shows that each unit must be connected to the main router. Is this the case or can one unit be connected to the router and act as a centralized point to connect the other units wirelessly and just be powered by the poe adapter? Also, can these units be logged into by their IP address after initial configuration using just a web browser or do they all need to be controlled from a centralized point with downloaded software? I think those were my only real questions at the moment.

No. Alls EAPs are just access points and as such can't be used as range extenders/repeaters. This also applies to EAP110-Outdoor.

They can run in standalone mode without an EAP controller, but certain functions are available only when running under control of the controller. See http://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-2051.html for a list of those functions.

Hi, I have EAP100 EU V1Everytime I try to Adopt the EAP router it will disappear and will not be able to recognize if you check the Wifi Lists to connect to the TPLINK default name.Please helpAny EAP controller I need to download to use the voucher code feature.Thank you!

Make sure you use the correct firmware for EAP110, else it won't work with Controller v2.5.4.

what would be the best firmware for my EAP to update?

EAP110 Outdoor EU v1
Version: 1.20.0

what would be the best EAP Controller I can use aside from V2.5.4?

-I tried to update firmware but the one the went through was 1.20 the rest don not.
-Tried over controller V2.4.7, same thing when adopting the device it went missing.

Please help! :(

Firmware v1.2.0 of 2018-04-28.

I only see Omada Controller v2.6.1. Is that the one you are referring to?

Full title is Omada EAP Controller, previous name was Auranet EAP Controller. Yes, this is the EAP Controller I was referring to.

Thank you so much R1D2, I was able to use the controller together with EAP110 Outdoor and able to create a voucher for my clients. Great Job!
