I am replacing an older intellinet switch with a TL1600G. I need POE for a phones.

I currently have 2 Intellinet switches hooked up with fiber using sfp adapters (545006 1000Base-SX SFP). When I moved the sfp to the TL1600G, it would not connect to the intellinet switch. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is. Do I need a different adapter in the TL1600 or both in the TL and the intellinet switches.

I put the sfp back into the intellinet switch and it connects.

Thank you

In my opinion, you can change the speed and duplex of SFP port in T1600G switch, if you change speed 1000Mbps, Duplex to full, maybe the connection is ok.
