i have a wa5210g set up as a AP on my house. I purchases a CPE210 and want to use it as a client to create a new WAN in my barn. I went through the setup multiple times and it seems like its connected to my AP but when i connect a laptop to the port on the 210 i do not have any internet connection. I am not sure what is going wrong. The AP is connected to a tplink router and i am using dhcp from the router. I also tried to ping tool on the 210 and i can not ping google.com. please help!

Which IP do you use for the CPE? Which IP is your laptop set at? If using the default IP (192.168.0.254) to connect to the CPE, make sure to set the laptop back to dynamic IP/DHCP for the connectivity test. DHCP should assign it an address if the CPE can connect to the WA5210G successfully. If the built-in test fails, you should set the CPE to an unused static IP of your subnet and assign the default gateway and DNS (which is your TP-Link router).

the IP is the same as the subnet as the rest of my LAN. 192.168.2.x. I am able to connect to the 210 with my laptop on the same LAN as the cpe. DHCP is handled by my router. When i use the native ping tool in the CPE it cant reach google.com to ping. maybe the 2 AP's are not connected at all. I am not sure. it says they are on the right side of the status page though.

Test it step-by-step. First ping the WA5210G from the CPE, then ping the TP-Link router. If this works, there is a connection. Next, ping Google using an IP, e.g. 8.8.8.8. If this works, you have an Internet connection. If it does not work in this step, you probably have forgotten to set the gateway on your laptop (if you use static IPs). Next, try google.com. If this works, DNS is running. If not, you have not set DNS on your laptop. If you don't use static IPs, check wether DHCP assigns an IP, a default gateway and DNS server addresses to your laptop.
