Model : TL-SG2424
Hardware Version : TL-SG2424 2.0
Firmware Version : 1.0.2 Build 20150714 Rel.61832(s)
ISP : Comcast

my TL-SG2424 shows a "T" designation for the last 4 ports, but I can't seem to find out what this is for. Additionally, these ports are not available in the Cable Test section of the management console. Any data around the types of ports these are would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Mike

This are Combo ports (either copper or SFPs). Note that TL-SG2424 has been superseeded byT1600G-28TS, which has four separate SFP ports (thus, 28 in total, but otherwise almost identical to TL-SG2424).

Just out of curiosity: if you connect a copper cable into one of the combo ports and remove the SFP, does the port become selectable in the cable test menu?

I had copper plugged-into 2x of them and neither reported on the cable-test list [hence my initial confusion]. I haven't tried the SFP ports yet...
