When I plug the EAP-110 into a known good POE port on the switch, nothing happens.

The included POE injector does work. I am trying to bypass this though.

I am trying to track down why there are seconds of lag in the link between my local LAN and a device using this outdoor AP. It takes 6 seconds to load a web page served by a client with -50db signal. It takes 400ms using a different Asus AP to the same client using the same CAT6 cable.

The EAP110-Outdoor needs 24V passive PoE, not 48V IEEE 802.3af PoE. There are special switches on the market, which can provide 24V passive PoE, but most PoE switches support standard 802.3af/at PoE.

Thanks for the clear answer. Cheers!

I was able to track down the issues listed above as well. Apparently the default media QoS that's enabled caused it. All is well now.
