[TL-SG108E] No switch exists in the local area network
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I have a TL-SG108E v.1 switch (so no web interface, only Easy Smart Configuration Utility for configuration) and connect my computer directly to it. I configured a static IP address 192.168.0.2 and the switch (192.168.0.1) as the default gateway. I am able to ping the switch, so my computer sees the switch. However, when I run the Configuration Utility (provided on a CD with the switch), the switch is not detected. I get a "No switch exists in the local area network". What can I do to access the configuration of the switch?
