This question has probably been answered already, but my internet has dropped from 1000Mb/s to barely a snail's pace since I installed the switch on to my network. Is there anything I can do to improve this?

You can check the negotiation speed between the device and the switch. You can also check if there is a large amount of data flooding in the network, taking up bandwidth. You can post your topology. :)
