Hi all
I bought a T1600g-28P becouse the old switch had some problems with his peo and fan's.
That was a Cisco 29XX and was years always working with the core switch that is a Cisco 3750g.
So went to the store yes old school just go to a store (Smile)
And bought theT1600g-28P

but after 2 days pulling my hair out of frustration it is not that funny any more
My config

Cisco asa 5600 - Cisco 3750 - T1600g-28P
port 24 is a Trunk port on the cisco and management is VLAN1 also on the Tp-link port 24 untag and spanning tree is on
Vlan1 Manegement
VLAN 20 Office
VLAN 30 Wifi
VLAN 40 Printer
VLAN 45 Server

All VLANs have DHCP from the asa

So far so good
But mybe years after years use Cisco i think Wrong
What i try is to set a trunk on the TP-Link but it is just not working the 2 switches will not see one or the other ore the other cisco is 10.10.100.20 tp link is 10.10.100.21.
The Asa also do not see the Tp-link switch
All vlans are taged and this sould work.
But no id i try and read a lod but can not find a hands on that is not with your old web interface.
In the old interface the is a button member or not and eff a option to set up a trunk
But mot in my interface
firmware is 2.0.0

Somebody a id what the ... i do wrong?

Not sure what you mean. If you create a new VLAN, a page should appear which let you add members (this screenshot is from firmware 2.0 emulator):

Heb een wat meer recentere handleiding gevonden dan die op cd van de switch
Daar geven jullie zelf ook aan dat het onder staande is in command:

2.2.2 Configuring the Port
Follow these steps to configure the port:
Step 1 configure
Enter global configuration mode.
Step 2 interface { fastEthernet port | range fastEthernet port-list | gigabitEthernet port | range
gigabitEthernet port-list | port-channel lag-id | range port-channel lag-list }
Enter interface configuration mode.
port |port-list: The number or the list of the Ethernet port that you want to configure.
lag-id |lag-list: The ID or the list of the LAG that you want to configure.
Step 3 switchport mode { access | trunk | general }
Specify the link type of the port.
access | trunk | general: The link type. By default, it is Access.
Step 4 switchport pvid vlan-id
Configure the PVID of the port(s). By default, it is 1.
vlan-id: The default VLAN ID of the port with the values between 1 and 4094.
Step 5 end
Return to privileged EXEC mode.
Step 6 copy running-config startup-config
Save the settings in the configuration file.
The following example shows how to configure the link type of port 1/0/5 as Trunk, the
PVID of port 1/0/5 as VLAN 2:
Switch#configure
Switch(config)#interface gigabitEthernet 1/0/5
Switch(config-if)#switchport mode trunk
Switch(config-if)#switchport pvid 2
Switch(config-if)#show interface switchport gigabitEthernet 1/0/5
Port Gi1/0/5:
PVID: 2
Member in LAG: N/A
Link Type: Trunk
Member in VLAN:

Helaas als je dit doet leterlijk stap voor stap krijg je Bad command als para terug.
En ik denk persoonlijk dat, dat het probleem is.

You did use a wrong syntax. Try:
Name_of_switch(config-if)# interface vlan 1
If it is the only VLAN for this port, it's an access port. If the port is a member of more than one VLAN, it's a trunk port. See the manual of T1600G.

Just to make some things clear for others stumbling over this thread:

Current manual for T1600G V2 hardware is from September 2017. Always use the right manual for the actual hardware/firmware combination, since especially the latter changes over time.

DHCP on the management VLAN works with T1600G, too. However, I recommend static IPs for stationary devices. DHCP is fine for mobile devices, but not for stationary devices.

You're welcome. However, I have no idea how to close this thread, it's an user's forum open to everyone and I'm just another user, not affiliated with TP-Link.
