hey there!

 

i connected the switch to my computer (LEDs are blinking), gave my pc 192.168.0.2 static IP but this configuration tool (i'm on win 7) just won't find the switch. any idea what's the problem?

 

when connecting my ISP's router to the switch i can access it through the switch so it is actually working. but i just can't find it with the management tool..

 

any ideas!?

Hi

 

Your model number is TL-SG105,it is Unmanaged Switch,  it is not Easy Smart switch. TL-SG105E is the East Smart Swicth, Now TP-LINK change the name to "Unmanaged Pro Switch".

 

So you can not use Utility to configure your TL-SG105.

Are u sure this is the product you have? If so, I think TPTHZ was right about that.

Connect the PC to the switch directly and use the latest version of Unmanaged Pro Utility.
