Model: CPE210
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I just recently bought this extender, I hooked it up to power, had a LAN and ethernet line setup and changed my IP address setting to what was stated in the manual. However, when I go to type in the http://192.168.0.254 into the browser nothing comes up and it tells me I'm not connected. What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi @jhicks67,

you need to just change your laptop's IP to the 192.168.0.0 subnet once for the initial setup to change the CPE's IP for integration it into your network.

It's best to do this setup while the laptop has a wired connection to the CPE. Log into the Pharos web UI and change the CPE's IP to a free (still unused) static IP of your own subnet (e.g. 192.168.10.50 or whatever you use). When done, change back the IP of your laptop. Don't turn off the CPE yet, just connect it now to your network's switch or router. Then log in again - now with the new IP - and save the changes.
