I still have to buy one!

I see it should be connected to a computer.

But I simply want to install as follows: router -6m cable - PoE - 6m cable - CAP300-Outdoor

Is this possible?

Sure. But I would recommend to buy EAP225-Outdoor (or EAP110-Outdoor if you really want a N300 AP).
