Non PoE devices on TL-SG1005P ?
Hello, can I connect regular non PoE devices to the TL-SG1005P? The quick start manual implies that you should connect a PC to a different switch. I would like to avoid blowing up my hardwre.

Where do you see this? Installation guide does not show another switch, it just highlights the four ports (out of five in total) which can provide power over PoE. There is also a note mentioning that you can connect non-PoE devices to PoE ports, which then will just transmit data and do not power the device (see note #1 at right bottom):
