Hi,

1. Do we need to install Omada Controller with every AP or just one is enough for multiple APs?

2. Is it necessary to have controller?

3. Can we customize login page?

1. You can use one Omada Controller to manage multiple EAPs as long as the EAPs can reach the controller.

2. To manage EAPs it is not necessery to have a controller, they can be configured through their web UI or using the Omada app. But features requiring the controller such as certain portals or meshing require a controller, of course. Some portals (local passwords, external RADIUS) don't require a controller. You can find out what an EAP – for example the EAP225 – supports without requiring a controller by looking at its emulator, for example the EAP225 emulator.

3. Yes, you can customize portals. See the OC200 emulator to find out what can be customized. The same functionality of an OC200 is provided by the SW controller, too.
