Hello,

I have a new T2600G-28MPS switch, I want to connect 2 or 3 ports to my ethernet router so I have the best thruput, is there any option for that on this switch?

So I connect 3 ethernet cables to both devices and they act like one "virtual" port, so they can balance the communication?

Thanks,

JS

Hi @JulioSilva,

you can use link aggregation to group ports into a link aggregation group (LAG), but only if your router supports this, too.

See section »Configuring LAG« in the User Guide for T2600G-28MPS and your router documentation.

@R1D2 I cannot access my router configuration so I think its useless to configure only T2600 switch, right?

@JulioSilva, yes, link aggregation is useless if you cannot configure the remote peer (the router or any other device).
