Hey Guys,

 

My Setup:

Fritzbox

AC50

und 4x CAP1750

 

i was thinking, to connect the hardware like this:

 

Internet->FritzboxRouter->Switch

 

Switch to CAP1750 

Switch to AC50

Switch to other devices

 

But i cant connect to the  AC50 by connecting to IP:192.168.0.253. whats wrong?

I tryed it many times by the install guide.

@V3ni, you need to set a static IP from the FritzBOX network in AC50 (e.g. 192.168.178.250 or whatever is free).

 

To do so, connect the laptop directly to the AC50 (not to the switch), set the laptop to a static IP from 192.168.0.0 network (e.g. 192.168.0.10) and configure the AC50. See also the installation guide and the User's Guide, both describe how to initially set up the AC50.

Hi @V3ni 
Has the device(AC50) been reset?
What IP-address/mask does your PC? You can try use static IP(192.168.0.10 for example) on PC and connect to AC50 directly.  
If  192.18.0.253 not opens, try use cmd - ping 192.168.0.253
Does this address respond to Ping?
