@Kal22378 The CPE210's are NOT for wifi capablities.  The 2 radios will give you an invisible ethernet cable between your house and building.  If you want wifi in the buidling...you need to also purchase a EAP245 for indoor WIFI.  I usually run all my radios and AP's with a POE switch also to power the devices and give me more ports for more devices to get to the network.  If you need WIFI on both ends then get 2 - EAP245's to do this.  I have consulted many large farms and this is how I do them.

@Doc2485 Ok here is an explanation as good as I can. My parents house has internet and i want to use the CPE210's to get internet down to my property which is only about 800ft max. So what I need to do is use one CPE210 in AP mode at my parents place and the other CPE210 in Client mode down at my property. Then hook up the EAP245 down at my property to get wifi signal? Am I understanding this correctly? I'm not familiar with this stuff but I am willing to learn. Thanks Doc!!

@Kal22378 Hi!  Yes that is exactly what they are made for.  I have many Ubiquiti radios out there now and testing TPLinks to see how they do compared.  It has to be a clear line of site to achieve this.  Then you can use the EAP245 which is a AP and it will provide the WIFI.  The radios will need to be aligned properly and again clear line of site.

Where are you located at?  I am near kentucky in USA. 

@Doc2485 So will trees hinder this alot? There are a few in the line of sight. The only complete clearing would have to be about 250' to 300' away from the build I would like to install this in. I around the thumb area in Michigan. Thanks again for your help Doc.

@Doc2485 One more quick question for you. Can I hook an omni directional antenna to the eap245 to send wifi out through the property?

@Kal22378 Well trees will hurt it for sure and leaves.   It will slow it down for sure if not a clear line of site.

@Doc2485 Can I use a TP Link EAP225 outdoor AP instead of the EAP245?
