Hello all, I'm looking at different configurations for a non-profit I volunteer for that offices around 40 computer users.

The building is fairly large and I'm wanting to add some access points to get some good coverage.

I came across the TL-WA5210G and was quite impressed by the reviews but it seems that people have a lot of problems connecting an omni-directional antenna to it.

Here are two links to threads that seem unresolved concerning this issue: One, Two.
Does anyone know if it's possible to use an external omni-directional antenna with one of these?

Thanks for any help!

Yes use indoor antenna settings and everything will be fine .. Its nearly hassle free .

also use WDS mode . So repeaters can be used to set up where wireless signals go weak.

I'm sorry but I have tried the set-up a few times now and it is rubbish with an external areial.

Point to point link a great, but with a aerial dont waste your time and money.

The aerial is fine but the WAP is very poor.

I used another manufacturers WAP and it works spot-on
