I have the switch. t2508g 8 port ,and I need 2 vlan ago, Sales and Administration Department. It has to be separate. The internet port is 1. They all share the same IP range. How is it done?
  
I tried it several times, and once the internet doesn't work for me.

@hostal, create asymmetric VLANs:

 

  1. VLAN 1: default VLAN
  2. VLAN 2: Sales
  3. VLAN 3: Admin

 

  • Port 1/router: untagged member of VLANs 1, 2 and 3, PVID=1.
  • Ports for Sales: untagged members of VLANs 1 and 2, PVID=2.
  • Ports for Admin: untagged members of VLANs 1 and 3, PVID=3.

 

Sales cannot reach Admin, Admin cannot reach Sales. Both share the router/Internet.

Traffic from router reaches Sales and Admin.
