Model: CPE510
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.2.1

Hi!

Just bough a CPE510 v1.1 to replace a CPE520 v2 and got an issue that states the certificate has expired on Dec 2019. I can access the CPE but don't want this issue which anoys me everytime I access the admin web.

Should I ask tplink support?

Is there a way to update them through ssh? I wasn't able to find the certificates through ssh. They are not in the standard Linux location of "/etc/ssl"

Thanks in advance!

Bicha

@Bicha There is almost nothing you can do because you have old hardware version of CPE, they just released updated firmware with new certificate valid till 2029 but you must have atleast v3 or v3.20 hardware version. All you can do to get rid of that expired certificate is to disable secure connection from management>web server> and uncheck secure connection https.

@cristianvdr Than you for your answer, seems I got a new out of support product. Yes, I saw the latest firmware but as you said, it wasn't for my hardware version. Well then I will have to send it back to the store. Thank you!
