TL-POE150S with y-cam POE camera

I am trying to determine whether I have a faulty TL-POE150S or whether it is incompatible with my y-cam POE camera. I have tested the camera on a POE switch and it works fine - but with the TL-POE150S injector - the camera does not get powered up. I have lights on the injector. Y-cam inform me that the camera is 802.3af 'B' but I have yet to find out whether the injector is A or B or compatible with both?

802.3af PoE this same protocol in camera and injector. Maybe TP-link is broken.

Yes I agree but there does seem to be an A and a B version. Anyway, as I have no definite answers I have returned the injector to the retailer. Thanks for your thoughts.

I have purchased the same camera model and have four of the POE injector and I am having the same result with all four we used a previous version of power injector and it was fine. I think it may be an issue with the new version of injector.

It would be useful to be told if the TL-POE150S outputs power in MODE B (power to the "spare" pins on the ethernet cable 4,5,7,8)? From what I can find that is what the yCam PoE device needs. I too would like to use a TL-POE150S to power my camera but the OP makes me think it's not going to work because the TL-POE150S is outputting in MODE A (power to pins 1,2,3,6).
Anyone from TPlink checking these forums?

"If so, we support A. And it uses 1、2、3、6 line pair to supply power"

It is recommand to support both A and B as a PD,and a PSE should support only one of them.
So the problem is the camera isn't following the standard.
