Sfp ports TP-Link TL-SG2210MP
Hi
im looking at buying a TP-Link TL-SG2210MP, I need 10 ports, is it possible to use a rj45 lan module plugged into sfp port and connect a normal lan cable

@Fergin think I may give this a go, I need 10 ports two which need to be poe
i going to use the two sfp slots to connect two other switch's in different rooms

Off topic question, but since you own the unit; How do you feel about the noise of your switch? Does it even run the fan all the time or only under high PoE load? (see also; https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/255686)

@Alucard1 Fans run all the time, but it's not that loud. I say that coming from older Extreme hardware, and that stuff i noisy!
I only use about 10% PoE budget on my 2210s so I can't really say what they sound like under max load. My 2210s are located in rooms where it does not matter either so the fans are not a problem for me.
On my desk, I have the 2008MP which is fanless. Downside is that it only has 4 PoE-ports, but I really need none here at my desk so that is not a problem.
