I'm trying to extend my home network to an office in the garden and I need wired connections in both locations.

I have a  BT Home Hub (router/gateway/dhcp) ip:192.168.1.254,  I've configured an AP CPE1 IP 192.168.1.41 (in the house) which connects to Client CPE2 IP 192.168.1.42 (in garden office).  However I am (as yet) unable to ping 192.168.1.41 (house) from 192.168.1.42 (garden), nor can I reach the Home Hub and therefore have no internet access or useful network yet.  Reading some of the forum posts this seems to be a not uncommon use case.  Is there a scenario configuration you can share with me and the rest of the community to help get this working?

Looking forwards to hearing from you,

Spike60

@Spike60

Hi there, you can log in the management page of the Client to check "Status--Radio Status--Tx Rate/Rx Rate", this is to make sure that the Client is connecting to the AP.

There has a pretty detailed instruction when the Client side cannot get internet from the AP side.

Wish this link can help you.
