Sorry to bug you.

Here is a CFG file from this switch I am working on (TL-SG2428P.

I have tried to set up 2 VLANs and static routing between them.

The TL-SG2428P set at 192.168.1.254.

My laptop is set at 192.168.1.13

I have another switch set up as 192.168.2.30. I can ping this switch at 192.168.2.30 with my laptop set at 192.168.2.13, when I have the laptop plugged directly into the switch.

When I plug my laptop into the TL-SG2428P switch that is at 192.168.1.254, I can never ping the switch at 192.168.2.30.

The switch at 192.168.2.30 is plugged into port 16 of the TL-SG2428P.

I have my laptop plugged into port 1 of the TL-SG2428P.

What am I doing wrong?

My appologies for not knowing how to properly format a post. This is the 1st time I am posting here.

We have been trying to follow the TL-SG2428P user guide examples and some FAQs on the TP-Link site, but nothing seems to work.

Many thanks for any advice you can provide.

Dear @JulianSmith

When your PC is 192.168.2.13, this IP belongs to VLAN2, but if the PC is connected to the SG2428P, it belongs to VLAN1, so it will definitely not be pinged.
Please tell me what is the default gateway of your PC's static IP configuration?
You can try to change the PVID of that port of the switch that the PC accesses to 2.

Best Regards!
