Satellite communications mostly use the 7.9-8.4/7.25-7.75 GHz band, referred to as the 8/7 GHz band.

This band is usually occupied by governments and the military.

Some countries use the 10.15-11.7GHz band for terrestrial communications.

The IEEE refers to the 12-18GHz band as the Ku band.

So the answer is NO.
