Hi,

I'm planning my home network. I need to choose a right switch and router to support 3 AP + 3 wired connected devices. I'm considering TL-SG1210P because I have 3 POE+ powered APs. However, I wonder if the uplink connection from switch to router will be a bottleneck. Maybe not right now (I have 1Gb internet from ISP) but in the futrure it might be a bottleneck.

What speed I could expect from TP-Link TL-SG1210P uplink ports (ethernet and  SFP)?

@Matzzz 1G is good enough for most of the cases.

If you want more, you can buy a 2.5G/10G port switch. However your main router also need to supports 2.5G/10G, or at least LACP(link aggregation).

I don't think it is necessary and from what I know, 2.5G/10G switches are very expensive.
