Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.20.1 Build 20210407 Rel.40405

Hello,

I have this physical configuration:

Router(10.0.0.1)

|

Switch (1) T1600G-52PS (10.0.0.6) (port 19)

|

Switch (2) TL-SG2210P (10.0.0.7) (port 9)

I use (MAC)VLANs in my home network:

VLAN1 - default

VLAN10 - home

VLAN88 - guests

I have a problem, that the last switch -TL-SG2210P- cannot reach internet - cannot obtain time from NTP server and even cannot ping router at 10.0.0.1

T1600G-52PS Settings:

VLAN Config: VLAN1 port 19 untagged, VLAN10 port 19 tagged, VLAN88 port 19 tagged

MAC adress of switch 2 is not set in switch 1 MAC VLAN's (I tried it too, but did not help)

TL-SG2210P Settings:

VLAN Config: VLAN1 port 9 untagged, VLAN10 port 9 tagged, VLAN88 port 9 tagged

then:

Could you help me, what I am doing wrong? I can access devices connected to the Switch 2 normally, via PC-Switch 1-Switch 2-device(s), also devices can access the internet.

Thank you

  @PedroKV

If I were you, I would disable the routing on the TL-SG2210P switch.

  @KJK

Why?

Also it did not help with NTP issue.

I’ve assumed that the T1600G-52PS switch is already doing inter-VLAN routing. Any device in those VLANs, except for the routing one, should use the corresponding VLAN SVI as its default gateway. Setting up NTP on some switches can be tricky. I’m not really familiar with your switches so I can’t help you with any details. Whatever the details are, you need to be sure that you have Internet, DNS and routing sorted out first.
