Model: TL-SG3428X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.3 Build 20210409 Rel.52950

hello, I have a couple issues with the TL-SG3428X

  • How is an IPv6 loopback address configured?
  • When configuring a VLAN interface or routed port, the netmask 255.255.255.254 is rejected as an 'Invalid Mask'

Neither the web interface or the CLI seem to accept these configurations.

The first question is in the VLAN Interface, just change the VLAN to Loopback when creating the IPv6 Interface.

The second question is not supported as I know.

  @Virgo

It does not accept an IPv6 address.

If I create the IPv4 interface, there is no operation to edit the IPv6 address.

255.255.255.254 subnet mask is in RFC3021 from the year 2000. Is it supported in a different TP-Link product?

It seems that setting up the IPv6 ULA is not currently supported either.

  @Virgo

Which address is supported and how do I enter it? Devices aren't supposed to even know about ULA
