Hi!

 

I need to connect a machine, 70 meters way, to the main office LAN. My plan is to install an EAP-110 in the main office and a CPE210, as bridge, in the other point. My problem is that there are some trees in the way. Does this kind of connection require a line of sight between the EAP110 and the CPE210 devices?

Yes, there needs to be a clear view between the EAP and the CPE and preferably no obstructions in the way.

Also is the EAP110 an outdoor product, if so this topology is fine, be careful to use the CPE in Client mode.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
